The membership at large votes to place several works on the Norton ballot. The Norton jury can augment these with up to three additional selections.
Interested volunteers should contact the office of the vice president at vp@sfwa.org. Please include your name and email address as well as a sentence or two about the following:
1) Your experience (if any) as a reader, writer, or curator of young adult and/or middle grade fiction.
2) Your interest in serving as a juror for this award.
Service on the Norton jury is limited to current members of SFWA who have joined on the active level (as opposed to the associate or affiliate levels). Memberships are accepted year-round; if you qualify as an active member of SFWA, but are not currently a member of the organization, you are welcome to join at this time so that you can apply for jury service. Please contact vp@sfwa.org if you have questions about that process.
Volunteer applications should be sent by Friday, March 29. Feel free to repost.
