Michael Alexander
I'm a college student with a voracious appetite for books and a habit for rereading my favorites time after time. I cut my teeth on fantasy and, soon after, SF, and there's nothing I love more than finding a new classic. My tastes run generally towards "soft" SF, but as long as it grabs me, I don't care what genre or sub-genre it is. For novels, I'll put my favorite, which I guarantee to be a flat-out masterpiece, on the top of the list, but I won't rank beyond that, and I won't put anything on this list I don't heartily recommend. For short stories, I'll name a couple of the best stories and then a collection or two.
