The Minnesota Center for Book Arts is publishing The Grammarian's Five Daughters by Eleanor Arnason in December, 2006. Originally published in Realms of Fantasy in 1999, the story was a finalist for the World Fantasy Award and was reprinted in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, Strange Horizons and Ordinary People. This is a limited edition, handmade book in three versions. The deluxe edition, limited to 26 copies, is $550. The standard edition, limited to 60 copies, is $225. The chapbook edition, limited to 200 copies, is $35. All books are numbered or lettered. The deluxe and standard editions are signed by the author. For a more complete description of the three versions and an order form, visit the MCBA Winterbook page.
An aside from the author: The chapbook and standard versions are fine books. The deluxe version is awesome.
