Vera Nazarian's The Duke in His Castle Sells to Papaveria Press

The Duke in his Castle, by Vera Nazarian

An erotic dark fantasy novella The Duke in His Castle by Vera Nazarian — the story of a young Duke confined by a mysterious barrier within the boundaries of his crumbling castle and an equally mysterious female intruder who comes to his castle bearing a box of bones — has been acquired by Papaveria Press.

"Vera Nazarian combines the wry and poignant charm of Hans Christian Andersen with the subversive wallop of Angela Carter in crafting this gem of a fairy tale. No longer merely a promising writer, Nazarian has arrived."

— Paul Witcover
