Wilson and Bova win Sturgeon and Campbell Awards

The Theodore Sturgeon Memorial and John W. Campbell Memorial Awards were presented in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday, July 6, 2007 in a joint ceremony with the Science Fiction Research Association.

Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award:

    3rd Place: Michael Swanwick for "Lord Weary's Empire"
    2nd Place: Robert Reed for "A Billion Eves"
    Winner: Robert Charles Wilson for "The Cartesian Theater"
John W. Campbell Memorial Award:
    3rd Place: Peter Watts for Blindsight
    (tie) Jo Walton for Farthing
    2nd Place: James Morrow for The Last Witchfinder
    Winner: Ben Bova for Titan
The Science Fiction Research Association presented the following awards:
    Graduate Student Paper Award: Linda Wight
    Mary Kay Bray Award: Ed Carmien
    Thomas D. Clareson Award for Distinguished Service: Michael Levy
    Pioneer Award: Amy J. Ransom
    Pilgrim Award: Algis Budrys
