Vicious barbarians are out to take over the Realm. The only ones who know what it will take to stop them are teenage hedgewitch Makenna, former knight Tobin, and his well-meaning but often naive younger brother, Jeriah–and a whole lot of goblins. The answer lies with the Otherworld Spirits and also with the Blood Amulets that give the barbarians their power. But can Jeriah work with the hedgewitch who almost got his brother killed, even to save the Realm?
