Members of the MadWordsmiths writers group report the recent death of author Mark Kevin Gilbert, following a long battle with cancer. The Lawrenceville, Georgia resident was a member of Horror Writers of America and publisher of the online magazine Atsoise. He wrote the novels Thistle and Grimal's Spellbook.
