| George Flynn, longtime science fiction fan, passed away early Sunday August 29, following long illness. He had been hospitalized since June.
George was active in fanzines, conventions, NESFA and the World Science Fiction Society. He was a popular proofreader, both professional and fan.
His wake will be at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 15 Church St, Warren, RI from 5PM - 8PM Friday, September 4th. The funeral will be at the funeral home at 9AM on Saturday, followed by a Mass at St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St. His brother, Jack Flynn, requests that memorials be made to St. Mary of the Bay Church or the New England Science Fiction Association. |
